individual counseling // online and in-person therapy in asheville and across north carolina
crossroads, hurdles, and transitions show up in so many different ways: breakups, children going to school, a significant loss, changing friend dynamics, a big move, that new job. these changes, whether predictable or a shock, may impact us in unexpected ways or can interfere with our quality of life. my clients are often a little bit removed from the initial shock or grief of a big change and need help figuring some things out. “why do I feel so stuck?” “how do I learn and grow from this?” “how do I make sense of it?”
my clients describe waking up and not recognizing themselves or their lives. they’re curious about how they got to this chapter and need some help moving forward. there are so many things that make you who you are - we’ll discover those parts together, leaving you with the power to decide what you want to take with you - or leave behind - in the next chapter.
adhd therapy
what if you weren’t lazy? what if the problem isn’t that you’re overly emotional, unmotivated, disorganized, or too sensitive? i’ve seen the empowerment that comes in realizing we aren’t actually “too much.” maybe it’s just that the world wasn’t designed for your brain.
i help folks with adhd learn how to utilize tools, increase awareness and acceptance, and take up space in a world designed for neurotypical brains. whether you have a diagnosis of adhd or are curious about some of your attention, rejection sensitivity, or emotional regulation patterns, we’ll work together to recognize your strengths and make your brain work for you.
